Falcons’ First Round Pick James Pearce Jr. Pops Out With WNBA’s Rickea Jackson on Draft Night
Last night marked the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and there were plenty of surprises. That especially rings true for the Atlanta Falcons!
After grabbing Georgia’s Jalon Walker with the 15th overall pick, the Falcons were able to trade up with the Los Angeles Rams to hold the 26th pick. They chose wisely, selecting Tennessee’s James Pearce Jr. to join the team in the Edge position.
Pearce opted not to join the festivities in Green Bay, celebrating at home with his family and friends instead. One of those “friends,” however, stole the show!
The friend in question: Los Angeles Sparks forward Rickea Jackson!
Jackson, a fellow Tennessee alum who was the 4th overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, was seen lovingly rubbing Pearce’s knee as he was drafted by the Falcons. The display of affection shocked many fans as the relationship seems to be very private.
In response to the hoopla, Jackson shared a very interesting tweet on X. Let her tell it… It’s not even her (although we know it is).
