Transportation officials are warning people that more travelers need to get their REAL ID. There was a conference on Monday at the Philadelphia International Airport.

If you want to fly domestically in the country, it is require to have a REAL ID drivers lice’s by May 7th. If you don’t have one, you’ll need a passport. To get a REAL ID, you’ll need to bring proof of identity, address, social security card or resident card to your local state driver’s license center.

As the deadline approaches, the lines at the dmv are getting longer. People can visit the TSA website for a guide about acceptable identification at TSA checkpoints.
